Yesterday i tood ds(Age 9)To the store to get a new polo shirt for easter sunday.He surprised me by wanting a suit instead.Well, i wasn't ready for a suit, but we ended up picking out a dark beige sport jacket, a white shirt, a belt and a tie.Ds loved his new clothes and had them on at seven in the morning!
Now, i might point out that in our church most of the men wear polo shirts and slacks to services only the pastor and a handful of older men wear jackets.
But i looked around this morning and most of the elementary aged boys were wearing jackets and ties!It just cracked me up!I grew up attending a pretty formal church, but even there boys didn't wear coats until they were in high school or college.And by the late1980s i think most young men gave up coats all together.
So what do your boys wear for dress ralph lauren italia outlet up occasions if not religious services, then for weddings, funerals, graduations, etc?When do you expect to see them in a coat and tie if ever?
My ds is 4.For church today, he had a black pinsuit suit(Pants and coat), white shirt and tie.My little boy loves ties.Heprobably has8 ties. (I have not counted lately. )This is our third easter for a tie and the first for the full suit.He just had a blazer and dress pants last year.He wears a tie a lot of the time year round.He likes them and we get the zip ties.My dh and my father both wear ties to church so i think that part of it is being like them.Also, dh wears a tie to work most days.I may put him ina polo shirt as the weather gets warmer.Last year, i didn't get a short sleeve dress shirt(They ran out of his size)So he didn't wear his ties as much.However, this year, i have the short sleeve shirt so we are ready.I will probably get him another polo ralph lauren barberino pair of dress pants to wear without his coat when it gets warmer.I do put him in a sweater and turtleneck some in the winter.A lot depends on the weather.
I know that mine ds is younger but i am going to go with this as long as possible. (It makes sunday ralph lauren milano morning easier.He cried one sunday because he was not wearing a tie. )Of course, he could care less about what he wears to play in. (Also, did i mention that the shirt stayed untucked this morning? )
